Group Exercise Class Descriptions

Group Cycle classes may require early sign-up. (Check with your facility staff).

A 15 minute class focusing on intense abdominal and low back exercises followed by a stretch. No class experience necessary.

An active class focusing primarily on strength and flexibility. Traditional yoga poses flow together to combine movement and coordination as well as strength and stamina. Modifications are offered to accommodate participants of all levels.

This class features kickboxing techniques with punching and kicking drills. The primary emphasis is on cardiovascular benefit.

A moderate to high intensity class that involves stepping up and down on an adjustable platform using various stepping combinations. Moves are taught so that beginners through advanced participants can safely participate.

Resistance Training/Strength Training

A class consisting of exercises designed to strengthen all muscle groups. A variety of strength training equipment may be used including weights, resistance bands and body weight to strengthen and tone all the major muscle groups. Proper form and technique are emphasized.

 

RevMaster/Group Cycle

This is an instructor lead class on specially designed stationary bikes set to music. Participants are instructed on varying speed, pedal stroke and resistance to achieve an intense cardiovascular workout.
